As a amateur independant traveller, I needed a model to discover this universe with confidence, last summer. It worked out when I found the French YouTube channel Autonomade. The channel is hold by Florian, a 26 years old man, who created his channel in April 2017. More than a blog channel with tutos, vlogs, he treats about his new life style in his videos, and how to adopt it.

The minimalism way of life is the key of his success. It is about bringing with you the most necessary things for your daily life. It helps you to full up your travel bag with a minimum of clothes, food, things to keep yourself clean, and then wash them everyday, to use them on the next day. It permits your clothes to be re-used many times on the same weeks. This gives a more interesting circle of life to all your things.

A mental inspiration

In his speeches, Florian motivates his subscribers and gives them his confidence on the independent travelling life. Tips, solutions, motivation, he transmits his mind abilities to his community. He broadcasts his hitchhiking experiences thoughts Europe, which are relevant of the difficulties he meets, and the transparency of his channel. Indeed, Florian shows and admits the fact that his way of life doesn’t give a total easy and beautiful experience. It doesn’t save you from your daily routine and puts you in the most beautiful universe of independence. Florian says that it tests your mental, your ability to try this new way of life, and find out the capacities you still have to develop, so you can blossom yourself in the independent travel.
